Artist's Description
I painted this colorful watercolor to congrats my family and friends last Christmas. I wanted to reflect the tender and humility of God that comes to the world as a little Child, in the poverty of a manger. His majesty is shown by his aura, the intense blue sky and the bright stars that surround Him. My intention was to paint something joyful, that also children could enjoy.

About Carolina Prieto Moreno
I am a painter and designer from Madrid, Spain. Actually living in Madrid. I got my Fine Art degree in this city in 1999 and have worked as an artist, designer and teacher since then. I have also lived in Edinburgh, Scotland (2000-2001), where I studied modern and traditional techniques of printmaking in Edinburgh Printmakers Workshop. I have organized numerous personal exhibitions of my work in Spain, and have taken part in some collective ones in Spain and Edinburgh. I have also worked as a graphic designer, as an illustrator and cover designer of books (Children books, cooking recipes books, religious books, self help books...) and as a teacher.
