This painting represents a room located in a beautiful ancient country house, in the province of Toledo. Spain. It is a typical spanish kind of country house called "Cigarral" that were, in the XIX century, houses of labour; and, later on, were owned by noblemen. Nowadays many weddings, anniversaries, and a lot of different kinds of celebrations take place in its beautiful gardens and interior rooms. The actual, nice, owners, asked me to paint some watercolors as a remind of this marvelous place.
I am a painter and designer from Madrid, Spain. Actually living in Madrid. I got my Fine Art degree in this city in 1999 and have worked as an artist, designer and teacher since then. I have also lived in Edinburgh, Scotland (2000-2001), where I studied modern and traditional techniques of printmaking in Edinburgh Printmakers Workshop. I have organized numerous personal exhibitions of my work in Spain, and have taken part in some collective ones in Spain and Edinburgh. I have also worked as a graphic designer, as an illustrator and cover designer of books (Children books, cooking recipes books, religious books, self help books...) and as a teacher.
