This painting was a commandment by a catholic priest of my city (Madrid) and parish. He had the desire to get a simple work of art as a memory of the Holy year of Saint Joseph, that was summoned by Pope Francisco for this year 2021, from December 8th 2020 to December 8th 2021. As this priest has traditional manners and taste, I painted it in a classic way, emphasizing the tenderness and great love that this magnificent Saint had for his Little Child. At the same time, little Jesus wraps his little arms around his earthly father, as a sign of confidence, respect, and reciprocal love. I hope you like!
