I took this photograph during a promenade at the beginning of the huge snow that devastated Madrid during a weekend in January 2021. When the picture was taken the storm had just begun so you could still walk inside the park, and the vision was beautiful and clear. Some hours later of permanent snowfall, the park had to be closed for it became risky to walk inside as many branches started falling, and sidewalks became dangerous to walk along.
I am a painter and designer from Madrid, Spain. Actually living in Madrid. I got my Fine Art degree in this city in 1999 and have worked as an artist, designer and teacher since then. I have also lived in Edinburgh, Scotland (2000-2001), where I studied modern and traditional techniques of printmaking in Edinburgh Printmakers Workshop. I have organized numerous personal exhibitions of my work in Spain, and have taken part in some collective ones in Spain and Edinburgh. I have also worked as a graphic designer, as an illustrator and cover designer of books (Children books, cooking recipes books, religious books, self help books...) and as a teacher. It was last january. The biggests snowfall in fifty years! It was crazy becuse the city is not prepared for this kind of storms. So many trees got broken, and all the streets dissapeared under the snow...
